True Foxes are an acclaimed Folk/Americana cousin duo rapidly gaining momentum in the South West and beyond. Amie’s powerful, soulful songwriting on acoustic guitar - likened to Laura Marling and Brandi Carlile - pairs beautifully with Chloe’s ethereal harmonies and melodic bass lines.
Blending heartfelt storytelling with sisterly banter, their live shows take audiences on an emotional journey. Fans of First Aid Kit and The Secret Sisters, with a distinctly British twist, will feel right at home.
Since forming in 2019, True Foxes have performed over 700 shows and released their debut album Howl in March 2024. The album earned international radio play, was named Americana Album of the Month by The Country Mile Radio and UK Country Radio, and received glowing reviews from AmericanaUK, Rocking Magpie and Fatea, alongside a BCMA nomination for UK Duo of the Year 2024.The duo have toured extensively across England, Scotland and Wales, appeared on major UK festival main stages, sold out headline shows, and shared stages with artists including Steve Knightley, Sound of the Sirens, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, The Magpies and Mark Radcliffe.
Highlights include rave-reviewed performances at venues such as the Liverpool Philharmonic, Royal Glasgow Concert Hall and The Water Rats.In 2023 they were named “Highly Recommended Artists” at Celtic Connections, supported Show of Hands’ Steve Knightley, sold out their debut headline tour and performed at over 30 festivals. BBC Introducing also selected them as Artist of the Week across eight BBC radio stations.
Following the success of Howl, 2024 saw international main stage performances in Portugal and major UK festivals, plus full-band appearances at British Country Music Festival and Country Calling.
Now working on their second album, due early 2026, True Foxes are firmly ones to watch.
